Class and Characteristics in Material

Dear Expert,

I would like to utilize the Classification in Product Master. Are there any documents that detail the complete process for setting up Material Class and Characteristics?

Additionally, Can the product master file search be filtered based on the entered characteristics? Is there a report available for Material Characteristics? For example, I would like to compare the sales revenue across different Characteristics or view a product list for each characteristic, and so on.
