Clarity about Indirect evaluation

Dear Experts,

Im new to SAP HCM,

In wage type characteristics , for basic pay WT, i chose  INVAL and variant B, (ie) Checking with(PS type,PS Area, PS group,PS level ,Base WT calc)

In, define valuation of base wage types  I chose PRZNT .Its working. why can't we use INVAL here instead of PRZNT.

Hi,

Please check INVAL is the correct module variant.

I checked in view v_t539j. It is showing only the following variants (which are also country dependant).

HDAUB

HDAUC

ORTSZ

PRZNT

SAPAC

SUMME

UNITS

UNPAE

Also please check the help by pressing F1 on selecting that field.
