I am currently working on a business process document for Work Clearance Management (WCM) and need to outline the standard features and functionalities available out of the box in SAP S/4HANA. I understand that WCM requires additional licensing and includes the following capabilities:
- Full electronic support for controlling hazardous work through permits and isolation procedures
- Support for multiple levels of work permits and approvals
- Management of operational lists, tags, and test tags within isolation procedures
- A mobile app for WCM supporting Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Based on my research, I found that SAP provides a classic version of WCM, which is an out-of-the-box solution for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM). Can anyone confirm if this is accurate?
Additionally, I am looking for detailed documentation or links regarding both the classic and enhanced versions of WCM.
Lastly, I would like to know whether the following process steps attached align with the standard WCM solution within SAP PM, or if additional licensing and enhancements are required to cover them.
