Hi Experts,

Is there any BAPI for CJ88. I am developing a report in which I need to pass a WBS element for its settlement which we do in CJ88.

Hi Can you please tell us how its worked with the BDC currently we facing the issue while process with the BDC the error are not coming from CJ88 how to handle can you tell us its more helpful Thank you

Is there any other method for the same bcoz i am not able to capture the errors in bdc. The system does not give errors in bdcmsgcol

Is there any other method or FM by which i can do wbs settlement. Because i am not able to capture

the errors which we can see in CJ88.

Hi Priti,

CJ8G will help you to do mass settlement. You will have to create variants.

Actually i have developed a y-report in which i give project def. as input. Now when i execute the report,

in the report i read the wbs element of thar project def. whose settlement i need to do. The problem is that if any error comes during the settlement, i need to capture these errors and restrict the report from futher processing.

When we manually execute through CJ88 transaction, we give the wbs element and if any errors, we can see them in the display. Now i am not able to cpture these errors. So was asking for a BAPI or FM which can serve the purpose.

Hi,

You will have to pass OBJNR. Get it from PRPS, PROJ for WBS, PD resply.

I go to PRPS table and give PSPNR as input. Then on execution i get the OBJNR value.Do i need to pass only this OBJNR value in input parameter of AK of the FM or do i need to pass any other also. And how do i come to know if the settlement has been done successfully. Like if there is any error during execution of FM, i should be able to trap these errors.

I am a PS consultant and have not worked with this BAPI earlier. Suggest to discuss with FI consultant. Refer this thread also:

I checked the FMs. Almost in all the FMs it is asking for an FI document no. i.e. BELNR. to be passed as an input parameter. But this doc. no. gets generated aafter the settlement is done as per the Functional consultant. Then which FM should i use in which i need to pass only the WBS elem / ProjDef , period and year ( the parameters that we put in CJ88 and execute)so that settlement is done.
