Chemical Vs. Material in EHS S/4HANA

Hi Experts, 
I have a question about EHS in SAP S/4HANA. In this area, we have to choose between Chemical and Material as the note below describes. 

Our client needs Risk Assessment for Chemicals, so we need The Chemical Solution. also, the client needs Waste Management, so we need The Material Solution. How can manage both of them?

Hello Ali, 

If you want to be able to use the process of waste management, you need to have the waste material created as usual. In case you want to make use of the risk assessment of the chemical for process purposes with your client,t all you need to do is

1. Create the necessary data (waste material)

2. Change to chemicals

3 Go to the chemical that responds to the waste material 

4. Assign the material to the chemical

5. You can proceed with the risk assessment of the chemical

6 you can proceed with the usual waste management process.

Its important to mention that you will have an indication of the risk assessment of the chemical within the Chemical management application, but if you switch to Waste material, there you will not see the risk assessment

To elaborate on your case, the way I understand it:

Your client has a material they want to be able to Risk Assess; this material might be a waste material, which is why they need both master data solutions.

In case my understanding is correct, if the customer needs both, they can assign a waste material to the chemical and further Risk asses the chemical. To do so, one user must have both authorizations for creating and maintaining waste material and Risk asses the chemical. This can be done by separate roles and authorizations depending on the clients' user structure as well.

I need to know how to do Waste Management Process in SAP while we have chemical and not Matrerial.

The Process are as below:
Create Transporters and Disposers
Create Waste Disposal Channels
Waste Transfer Requests
Waste Streams

I will be thankful if you guide me in this reguards.
