Checklist Before HANA Upgrade (Brownfield)

Hi SAP experts,

I have a customer who will be transitioning from SAP ECC to SAP HANA. A brownfield migration is planned. In this context, what is the easiest way to identify the developments and enhancements made in the ECC system? What should I do to adjust these developments after the system is upgraded to HANA?

I've gathered some information through research, but I'm looking for comprehensive knowledge. I'm open to your valuable suggestions.

Dear friend,

execute a SAP Readiness Check a full one which includes CVI, custom code and financial data quality. Then you have the result you are looking for. 

Usually 50% of historic customer code is not used anymore, so any clean up / analysis of the same upfront will help you not to check unused custom code.
