I have a question for the community, but I suspect I know that answer already. I have a customer going live in a few weeks and they have asked about the ability to print checks from multiple locations. The customer has a printer in their office, but they are looking at getting a second printer for the AP clerk to be able to print checks from home as well, since that person works remotely most of the time.
With the SAP Cloud Print Manager, is it possible to have more than 1 printer setup for check printing? If so, can that user print checks from home (when working remotely) OR print checks from the office (when in the office)?
Thanks,
Barry Wallace

Hi Barry ,
to answer your question straight away yes it is possible to print checks in different locations via Output rules.
Additionally for checks in my bank accounts you can assign different queues for different check lots.
I hope that answers the question a bit.
Best regards
Didi

Yes it is possible, in SPAD - Spool Administration you need to create output device with the following settings
Host Spool Access Method: G: Front end printing with control tech
or
Host Spool Access Method: L: Print Locally using LP/LPR
both options should work
Host Printer: _DEFAULT
this will direct the SAP to the client local printer not the printers on application server.
