YCOA itself cannot be changed, nor should there be a good reason to change it.

I would like to refer to below blog which contains very good info and analysis about chart of accounts and G/L accounts.

Why YCOA? The value of the standard Chart of Accounts in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
