Char of account the control account option not able to tick

Hi, though it is zero balance but the chart of accounts has transactions posted, is there anyway can still able to tick the 'control account' option?

Hi beehoiphoebe_yeo

The Control Account checkbox under the Chart of Accounts can only be unchecked when there are no transactions posted to that account.

Even if the account balance is zero and the control account has been removed from theBusiness Partner or G\L Determination, once a transaction has been posted, the checkbox cannot be unticked.
