Char group CT04

Hello Experts,

I have created char group via SPRO >Cross Application component >Charactristic--->Define characteristic group.

However, when I go in CT04->Create new charcteristics-> The char group does not appear in drop down list.

The requirement is to get this char group in the drop down menu.

Please help. Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Does new characteristic group available in table V_CMG?

Also check you an authorization for object C_CABN and C_CABN_GRP

An authorization group for characteristics to restrict access to certain characteristics.

Yes, it is maintained in the mentioned table.

The issue was with authorization object.

The issue is with Chars group, and not Characteristic name!

I have maintained the Chars group, but not able to see it in the drop down list as attached.

Hi,

As the Define characteristic group is part of the Configuration. Please make sure, is there any Transport Request Release is required,
Solution proposed : Kindly check the status of the Transports from the DEV System. If required, please Release the Transport & then, check.

Hello Raja,

Thank you for your inputs. I released the TR, but could not see the Chars group in the drop down list.

One point to add: There are so many Chars group maintained in the table, however in CT04 only few I can see, apart from those I have maintained.

This is what I need to know, why other or the ones which I have maintained, are not getting reflected in drop down list.

Is there any dependency involved/any other process is involved?
