Changing Released PO

Dear Members :

I need to change quantity of a released PO - what's the way around ? Is there anyway I can undo the release or any best alternative ?

Hello Atanu,

You cannot undo the release of a PO. Once you change quantity of a released PO, the changes can be released to the external system.

Go to me29n and restore the release done.You can change the qty.

Thanks - it's possible, albeit the strategy change also taking place - which I guess is unavoidable.

i think when you edit the released po, if the total amount increases then the release stratergy effected but in reduces the amount it will not effect....

try and back to me...

You are absolutely right - can't get past the strategy change, when I change the PO - but this I guess is unavoidable.
