PR auto created from work order.

When make changes on work order,it will reset PR release strategy which is fully released.

Is this standard or any configuration can be done?

Hi,

is this standard or any configuration can be done?

As per your business process and client needs,  your procurement process  designed, so  PR release strategy  triggers again and again when you do changes in the  work order

PR release strategy triggers as changeability indicator 4 set design if release indicator.

To avoid the above, create a new PR document type as ZPR and do not add ZPR in release value in the release strategy.

Set and link ZPR with your work order process. Now  make changes on work order,it will NOT reset/set PR release strategy.

NOTE: Have release strategy designed for PO WHICH created WRT PR document type  ZPR.

Dear Sappie,

Please check if  EXIT_SAPLEBND_001 EXIT_SAPLEBND_004 activated in your system. It may caused by

this user exit.

If this is not the case, when you change your work order, please explain more what have you change?

PR was fully released,PO created with GR posted

When add in 2nd item in work order,it prompt message:"Releases were revoked"

2nd PR created but 1st PR release strategy was reset.

It seems like doesn't make sense

Hi,

When you add 2nd item in work order, are you getting a separate PR number or another line item is getting added in the same PR ? If you want separate PR number for each line item please check the Indicator for collective purchase requisition per order is ticked at below path.

SPRO -> PMCS -> Maint. and service processing -> Maint. and service orders -> Function and setting for order types -> Define Change Docs, Collective Purc. Req. Indicator, Operation

is  collective requisition enabled in OIOE for the plant and order type

Hi,

Release strategy will ONLY be reset if one of the fields that are contained in your classification are changed.

For example

If you strategy is determined by Plant and value, if the plant or value doesn't change then the release strategy will not be affected.

So if you change qty and do not change value then the release strategy will not be reset. This is a basic limitation of the design.

A reset of the release strategy only takes place if:

-  The changeability of the release indicator is set to '4' in case of a purchase requisition and '4' or '6' in case of another purchasing document (purchase order, request for quotation, contract, scheduling agreement).

-  The document is still subject to the previous release strategy.

-  The new TOTAL NET ORDER VALUE is higher than the old one.

The total net order value is linked to CEKKO-GNETW for a purchase order, CEBAN-GSWRT for a purchase requisition item-wise release and CEBAN-GFWRT for a purchase requisition overall release.

If you have maintained a Tolerance for value changes during release (V_161S-TLFAE), the release strategy is reset when the value of the document is higher than the percentage you have specified and if the document is still subject to the previous release strategy.

Hi

It is standard process. as each time is the work order chenges then it will reset the PR release strategy.

In modifaction you can maintain it for work orders changed for higher quantities only. Means PR release strategy will get reset if the quantity is higher than previous PR / work order quantity and if the quantity is less than previous PR/work order then it will not reset the release strategy .
