Change the profit centre in the cost centre master after a year

Hi All,

Could you'll please let me know whether it was possible to change the profit centre in the cost centre master and if i did what will be the implications.

Yes - you can change the profit center assignment after the first assignment. Change Cost center master data using KS02 individually or using KS12 collectively. You may also use Assignment Monitor ( 1KE4 ) to do the required changes in Cost center.

Profit center assignment is time dependent. So after you do the re assignment PCA posting will be with newly assigned Profit center.
