change the cost center of an asset after posting the depreciation for the fiscal year 2022

Dear Sap Guru's

We want to change the cost center of an asset after posting the depreciation for the fiscal year 2022 but asset closing of 2022 not carried out. After changing the Cost center is depreciation reflects in the new Cost center in fiscal year 2022.

Please help to resolve this its urgent.

Please perform the steps in a test system and check if it works as you expected. Did you have a chance to look at time dependent interval?

Hello Palash,

Continuation to above answer, you can change very well at AS02, however in ECC changed Cost Center should be of same business area i.e CSKSZ-GSBER. I presume same will applicable to S4 HANA also.
