Change status and content of standard field 'Purchase requisition description'

Dear Experts,

currently, the "Purchase Requisition Description" field is automatically prefilled with the requestor’s name and the PR request date.
We would like to make this field mandatory (with red asterisk, same as field document type), and also blank by default, so the requisitioner is forced to write more detailed description.

We have checked custom logics for:
- changing field status ( MM_PUR_S4_PR_FLDCNTRL_SIMPLE) but description field is not available in the interface of this logic, 
- changing content of the field to be blank (MM_PUR_S4_PR_MODIFY_ITEM), but also, field is not available in the interface (PR does not have a header line, so I checked this badi).

Is it even possible to change status and content of Purchase Requisition description field? 

My question is related to app Manage purchase requisition - professional (F2229) for public cloud.

Hi @veronika_skybova - thanks for posting your question. Per below SAP Help page, there is a BADI -> MM_PUR_S4_PR_MODIFY_HEADER to change the header values of the Purchase requisition in 2502. However, I'm unable to find this BADI under business context Procurement : Purchase Requisition Item in my system. I see only 11 published BADI's for this business context, but the below page lists 12. 

I would suggest opening a case with SAP as the published content does not match with what's available in the latest release.
