In SAP S4 HANA ECN and ECO are replaced with Change record.

I am looking for the context regarding Change Record related to ECN.

Hi Naveen,

Change record is a new functionality in S4HANA. The Change record Component is PLM-CR and in SPRO you will find change record configuration under Product lifecycle management node.

High Level configuration:

1. You have to define Status profile

2. Define Change record type

3. Define workflow Template - For this you have to use Fiori Tile i.e. Manage workflow Templates

4. You can also use Process routes templates and BRF+ for automation of templates and status changes.

Is there a way to switch off the 'relevance' flag in the change Record ?

Hi Sir, I want to implement a requirement from the user: whenever the BOM (Bill of Materials) is changed, it should go for approval. I tried to handle it using Change Record (Engineering Change Management), but I was not successful. If you know how to do this, please create a scenario with screenshots and explain it step-by-step.
