Change of existing batch number

Hello experts,

I want to know whether we can change existing batch number? If yes how to change that?

We have one batch with special character and now we want to remove that special character from that batch number. 

Can someone help me in this on priority.

Hello @ssaher412 

You can't just change batch number. The number is part of the batch key. Hence if you change a batch number, you are going in fact create a new batch.

Having said that, what you need to do is to create a new batch without the special character and post stock transfer from the old batch with special character to the new one.
