Hello,
We have a client with non perpetual inventory and needs to work with perpetual inventory.
We plan to work with a new system but we would like to keep as much data as possible in this new system.
Is there any way to massively transfer legacy transactional data(Marketing Documents, Journal Entries) to the new database without using Data Transfer Wizard?
We would like to import the closed documents.
Kind regards,
Esti.
Hi,
The structure and behavior (Item valuation method, item cost, COGS,...) between non-perpetual and perpetual inventory system is different completely. I advise you to import opening balances and open transactions (Sales Order, Purchase Order, Production Order) then input real time data for new database with perpetual setup.
Hope this helps,
SonTran
