Change material type KMAT to HALB

Hi Experts,

I'm trying to change the material type KMAT to HALB. I've set for deletion and archived all purchase orders and also removed the stock from the material sending the stock for other material and/or scrapping the stock. But for some reason the batch number remains in the material. When I try to change the material type in MMAM t-code the message was shown:

The material type cannot be changed.

The reasons for this are:

There are independent valuation segments that are not permitted in the new material type. You must archive them first.

After that I've set deletion flag for all batches (valuation types) in MSC2N t-code and tried to archived them in SARA t-code, the following messages was shown:

MCH1: Material  0000822817 dependent batch records exist

MCHB: Material ZA01 ZA01 0000822817 unrestricted-use stock exists for previous period.

Can anyone suggest how to proceed?
