Change End Date for Period of Performance in Enhanced Limit PR with clean core

Hi Experts,

One of our client is using S/4 HANA private cloud. There is a requirement in Enhanced Limit Purchase Requisitions where we need to change  End Date for Period of Performance ( field ENDDATE in table EBAN at line item level) based on some requirement and display an information message. The problem here is, it should be implemented in clean core, means we are only allowed to use cloud BAdI, developer extensibility or key user extensibility. There is one cloud BAdI MM_PUR_S4_PR_MODIFY_ITEM is available for PR, however it does not contains field ENDDATE in its import or changing structure.

I have tried to achieve this functionality using BO event through BO interface (I_PURCHASEREQUISITIONTP) and EML but still it is not updating required field. Can some one please help to achieve this functionality in clean core.
