Change Actual Lot Qty. in Inspection Lot for Inspection Type 08

Hello Gurus,

I have activated inspection type 08 (Stock Transfer) in material master and with Transfer posting - 311 system has generated an inspection lot with qty. 5 but when i change actual lot qty. from 5 to 7 in QA02 then getting error " Deficit of BA Unrestricted -USE 2" this same-thing system is allowing  in inspection type 04. So please confirm and suggest for 08 is it possible in standard or how can i achieve it ??

Try with transaction QAC1, provided required quantity should be available in Unrestricted Use stock.

Hi Vivek,

I am wondering why you need to change inspection lot quantity in this scenario. The system will allow up to the quantity transferred. Please explain in details the business requirement here.
