Dear Colleagues,
a partner of mine asked a question about the CBC content for S/4 Hana publich Cloud. The partner is coming from the SAP ERP on premise and build up packed solutions templates for the DMI Industry. In SAP ERP you can setup a system and transport Configuration data, master data, etc. via transports into customer systems.
The partner is willing to consider S/4 Hana Cloud (public) in the solution portfolio and wants to invest in solution templates in that area.
He asks the following questions:
1. We are currently wondering how we would make a QPPS (Qualified Partner packaged solution) available to our potential customers in the public cloud.
So far we haven't found a way to transfer the content of the solution (scoping, org structures, configuration activities) from our CBC to another public cloud system. Or we even received the information that such a transfer is not planned.
Is it possible to import scope, orgstructures or configuration activities via transport order or other ways into a customer's new public cloud system? If so, what is the exact procedure?
If this is not possible: Why does SAP not provide for such a transfer? And how does the delivery of a QPPS in the public cloud look like?
Colleagues it would be really helpful to get a proper answer about this .
Thanks a lot Bernd

Hi Bernd,
This topic is planned for the future roadmap of CBC which will provide the ability to do this.
However, today partners could create reusable extensions only (not config) using following:
a) 2 system landscape - Use extensibility settings and templates: - https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/0f69f8fb28ac4bf48d2b57b9637e81fa/4ac79fe983e24c5e922b4123...
b) 3 system landscape - embedded ABAP Steampunkt and Git will be the best mechanism. Please refer to this note for more info: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2787809 & here https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/6aa39f1ac05441e5a23f484f31e477e7/d62ed9d54a764c53990f25f0...
Hope this helps,
Marco
