CBC - Configuration activities node become inactive

We are using the CBC for configuration setup in the current project using the 3 system landscape.

We encounter an issue with all configuration objects being non-active for changes.

We performed the TR movement using the Export customising transport app.

Question 1: What is the root cause of this issue?

Question 2: What are guidelines need to be taken care of to avoid such issues in future?

After milestone confirmation, all configuration nodes become active for changes in the Central Business Configuration. What you are missing is confirming the milestone on your CBC interface. Once you do that, you should be able to get the activities enabled for your configurations.

Please, do you know if there is a way to display the configuration elements in a view mode, before the confirmation is completely done.
