Cancelling Annual Budget

Hi All ,

Supposing I have allocated some year specific budget in year 2023 by mistake , how can I cancel that budget ? We are using only overall budget , not year specific budget .

Hi Mohammed,

Just get inside 2023 and update that back to zero.

Best option to avoid annual budget allocation is to remove respective check box on the budget profile.

I did annual allocation for released budget . There is no user status set to block budget updates .

In CJ32 try Extras > Error log > Display Error log to see if anything is there. You can also show your CJ32 screen without WBS codes.

Hi Paulo,

We can change configuration setting to avoid such action in future . However, we need to correct existing project .

I tried to update it back to zero using t-code CJ32 but system is not accepting , not giving any error ,simply throughing me out from the field . I also tried with CJ37 t-code but the row is greyed out means not able to feed any data . We are allocating original budget to project using t-code IM52 & once original budget is assigned , system is not allowing to enter into project & it's associated element at t-code CJ30 . Can you please suggest by which t-code I should try ?

Have you done the annual allocation for the original budget or for Released budget?

Do you have any user status that can block budget updates?
