Canceling Manual Depreciation

Hello,

We are using SAP 9.3 PL 4.

When we tried cancelling a manual depreciation entry, we got the following error message "Cancelation is not possible; first cancel subsequent transactions in depreciation area "Main Books" for asset "xxxxxxx"

There are no subsequent transactions for the said Asset Item.

Any suggestions?

The cancellation of Fixed Assets transactions: Capitalization, Capitalization Credit Memo, Transfer, Manual Depreciation and Retirement have to be performed in the inverse logic sequence from the chronological sequence of the asset value date of the transaction.

For example:

• The subsequent Capitalization must be canceled before the first Capitalization
• The transfer must be cancelled before the Capitalization of the fixed asset that was transferred
• Capitalization Credit Notes must be cancelled before the Capitalization

But Already posted in Sales invoice so how did you reverse manual depreciation

Please right click on the Fixed Asset Code and check Asset Transaction Report. You will find all the transactions performed for the Fixed Asset and there you will also see the subsequent acquisitions.
