We have SAP PPM in our landscape and a project is created in PS via a PPM Item.
If we refer this latest blog by @andrea_langlotz : Portfolio Management – Enhanced Financial Planning... - SAP Community, which sayes "With the recent SAP S/4HANA releases the integration capabilities of Financial Planning for Portfolio Management have been enhanced to support integration into the SAP S/4HANA periodic financial planning, i.e. ACDOCP based planning"
Which means we can use ACDOCP table to store the Budget values planned via PPM item as well in ACDOCP table with the correct plan category.
Question:
1) Can we Activate Budget Availability Control for ACDOCP Table for Projects in S/4 HANA 2023 private Cloud?
2) If yes, can we achive functionalities of Buget Transfer/Budget release/Budget supplimentals also from ACDOCP table?
3) If SAC is used for budget planning, are the values stored in ACDOCP Table and can we use the availability control from SAC in that case ?
4) Can we completely get rid of Old tables and move to combination of ACDOCP Table & ACDOCA tables going forward ?
Or can anyone please explain how is sap planning the Budget Availability Control for ACDOCP Table via ACDOCP Table?
Thanks in advance for the help!

No, Availability Control based on ACDOCP is not yet supported for projects in OP/private cloud. It is planned to include this feature as part of the roadmap, but at the moment there is not yet a timeline or defined scope.
When using transfer from PPM you can however use the transfer into the "old" tables (BPGE, BPJA) in addition to the ACDOCP transfer, with that you could use AVC and have the values in ACDOCP.
3) If SAC is used for budget planning, are the values stored in ACDOCP Table and can we use the availability control from SAC in that case ?
The Portfolio financial planning content https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_ANALYTICS_CLOUD/42093f14b43c485fbe3adbbe81eff6c8/fef35a05181f4b5f87973... is leveraging the ACDOCP API, so same as described above. If you need AVC, you could consider using additionally export to the classic tables.
