Can anyone explain how to maintain flexible replenishment lead time in S4HANA aATP with BPS?

Dear Gurus,

Recently SAP has included the functionality to use API for Scheduling Consumers in order to retrieve flexible replenishment lead times using a Scheduling Schema for aATP.

I have read the documentation provided by SAP but honestly I feel a bit lost since it seems too technical. I thought it would be similar to the approach followed to Scheduling in BPS by maintaining durations and calendars in Fiori. However, it seems a bit more complex and I would like to know if someone can easily explain what and how it works.

Hi papa261190,

With the upcoming OP2025 S/4 Hana release this feature becomes fully available. Please have a look at my KBA 3502154 How to maintain checking horizon via BPS - for detailed information.

Right now, it is not possible to setup the horizon in another way - than the old way via total replenishment lead time/planned delivery time and/or goods receipt processing time. Sorry, you have to wait for the next release (OP2025).
