Calculation Methods in Depreciation Key

Hello All, 

I'm trying to better understand how the SAP system prioritizes multiple calculation methods in the depreciation key. I am familiar with the different calculation methods (Base Method, Declining-Balance, Maximum Amount, and Multi-Level Methods), as well as the basics of Straight-Line Depreciation and Written-Down Value.

My question is: when we assign multiple calculation methods in the depreciation key and each method results in a different depreciation value, how does SAP determine which method takes priority for the asset depreciation?
