ByDesign: ATP check in sales quote - changing sales org

Component X is purchased by and on stock in site A (with sales org A). Sometimes, sales org B (on site B) will quote or sell X to a customer. Correct ATP results when entering sales quote for X in both sites.

PROBLEM:

in case not a new sales quote is started but only the sales unit/org/seller in the quote is changed, the following errors occur:

From A to B: Costs not determined: Valuation unsuccessful: Strategy step MATINV of valuation strategy Material for CRM processes aborted

From B to A: Invalid source of supply with party role Supplier and location role Ship From Location

It seems that it is taken data from memory, instead of resetting and starting a new ATP check.

Anybody any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Sandra,

This issue might occur sometimes when org data is different when this ship-from was selected and later you changed org unit /seller /unit again. There would be a mismatch and hence error occurs.

A ship-from location normally found by sourcing which might belongs to a wrong company. This can normally not happen since the ATP check provides the company to the sourcing engine and the sourcing engine checks if the found ship-from locations belongs to the given company.
