Business processes in PP

Hello Experts, Could you please share what are all the business processes available in SAP PP for mapping and brief explanation about the same? (for example PTI (Plan-to-Inventory))

Hi Waseem,

SAP PP is one of the Logistics Module Available in SAP ECC, The Core functions of pp module is Planning the demand and Executing production To Satisfy that demand.

pp have many options by which we can map any kind of business process in to sap. if the standard functionality of sap not matched with the requyirement of the business then we can go9 for new devolapment.

PLAN to INVENTORY is standard process of sap as told earlier Planning the demand which involves various planning methodalagies Available in satndard sap based on Business requirement we can configure the required settings. basically based on Previous or old sales history business will plan for future. EX : SOP> MRP.

After getting required Demand for a particular FINISHED Product  particular period we need to procure  the required Raw Materials first which involves the procurement process after procuring the rtequired raw materials we have to execute the production process like raising production order Issueing required Raw materials and arranging required Resoueces like Machines,labour and producing the material finally Goods Recipt of the final product and keeping it in Unrestricted stock.
