Business Partner - Customer - Mass upload of Partner Functions

We want to Upload Sales Agents which are created as BP with Roles Vendor into existing BP Customers as partner functions in the S/4 HANA Public Cloud.

We figured out that it does not work with the Migration object Extend Existing BP with new Org Levels, when the Sales org already exists.

How can we mass upload this Partner functions for Customers where the Sales org aleady exists?

Same question we have for any other kind of Partner functions like Employee responsible for example.

not sure if this has been solved yet therefore I leave a comment 🙂

I faced the same/similar issue as I was not able during migration of customner master data to assign multiple ship to BP to a sold to BP. Therefore I used the Mass Maintenance app as a Workaround:

exported the Table "KNVP" of the Business Partners where I want to assign a new additional partner function. In the exported Excel sheet - unhide column B (Actions) and use action Code "I" for "Insert data"; in the column J = "KUNN2" enter the number of the partner in my case it was the additional ship to BP; therefore I had to use in column "G" (PARVW =Partnerfunction the value "WE". like below

is important that you also fill out the field "PARZA" as thi is the counter for partnerfunctions (so if existing data is with "001" therefore start with "2" and go on with the number of records you want to add) - save the file and upload it with app "Start Mass Maintenace Business Partners"

PS: that should also work for Employees when you want to insert new data, just instead of Field "KUNN2" it is the Field "PERNR" (Perosnal number).

Hi @GaryK2, I was stuck on the same step recently. Use the Fiori App 'Export Master Data - Business Partners'. When uploading the file for Mass Maintenance you will probably find an error, which can be resolved following this note https://me.sap.com/notes/0003471907
