Business One Item Language Setup

Hi all,

I have previously downloaded the CN demo and would like to change the display language of the items to English instead of the displayed simplified Chinese language within the grids. (See Highlighted Pic). I would like to display the system default items in English.

I have tried to adjust the language by User under administration tab and display - general settings. Unfortunately it doesnt work. Please kindly advise.

Hi,

Changing the display language will only affect form, field and column names, and system texts.

Texts like branch names, item names, account names, etc. are written by the user, and as such can only be translated by the user. I.e. you yourself would have to replace the chinese (?) text with the english one.

An option is to use both languages in each field. Something like this:

Another option is to add a user field, where possible, where you can write down the english text.
