Hi,
I am using budget control for Internal Order/WBS and it is working fine.
But assume that i create Internal Order without any budget even though my company policy is to create budget, i am able to post actual cost.
Is there any way in SAP to control that if budget is not given to Internal Order no cost should flow to it.
If there is no option without budget Internal Order/WBS can be can be operated.
Bye,
Ramesh
Hi,
If availability control is active, you can set up a tolerance whether the system should give an error message or warning message when it exceeds the Budget. When budget is not entered availability is zero, hence it should result in warning / error.
This is configured in transaction code OKOC.
Thanks
Murali.

Hi
There is one way to monitor this you create use status for budets if budget is not maintained it will not be released for actual postings. Through this you can contoll the data
like if budget is not assigned to the internal order based on the status it will not be released hence no actual postings will be done for this WBS/Order
Cheers

In budget profile there are 3 activation indicators - and one of them is that availability control is always activated. You need to select this one. do not remember the exact field name and value.
