BTP fiori and odata v1

Hi,

I am trying unsuccessfully to retrieve report data from sap byd analytics into a fiori app in business application studio.
When I generate an app from a fiori template(freestyle) I input the service of the reports from BYD but it fails to retrieve the data from the report.
In the dev tools i see its fialing to find a characteristic even though it definitely is in the metadata of the report and when i make the call in a browser it works fine. Its also definitely not a credentials issue.
I have tried the exact same approach with business object odata in BYD which is v2 and it worked perfectly.

I'd appreciate any advice.

The answer is that when calling to the BYD analytics service to get report data you need to make sure to disable batch calls.
