BOM Status 02 consider in program CS_BOM_PRODVER_MIGRATION02

In S4HANA system,  in program - CS_BOM_PRODVER_MIGRATION02, BOM status not equal to 2  but still production version is created for the BOM with status 02 (inactive).

Material has two alternative BOM (1, 2), Alt BOM 1 has BOM status 2 and Alt BOM 2 has BOM Status 1, but valid date and Lot size are same .

When program is run, it has consider both BOM for prod version. Why program is doing that.

I would suggest you to implement the following note and retest this scenario:

3464044 - CS_BOM_PRODVER_MIGRATION02: False BOM data in Production version

If the issue persists, you might need to open an incident to SAP.
