BOM Explosion with change number not updated in MRP Live

Dear All,

I have encountered inconsistency data while running MRP. I ran MRP with MD01N (but it was automatically ran as classic MRP). A component of a BOM changed using change number (and it has been released). However, not all planned order component updated by this running. I checked time stamp on PLAF table of unchanged planned order, the time stamp not updated with latest MRP live. Any configuration or SAP Notes implementation missing for this issue?

Hi eganpradana

Please run MRP Live with Planning mode as 3 Delete and Recreate Planning Data. So that It will re determine the bill of material & create accordigly.

Hi maniprasath_73. Thank you for your feedback. Yes it would be possible, however i have concerned for this mode since this is for regular monthly MRP running, with planning mode 3 it will recreate new planned order and PR which might impacted to number range consumption. Would it be still possible if the setting keep using planning mode 1 and capture change number changes of BOM component?
