BOM Explosion in Delivery without Reference to Sales Order

Hi,

I'm working on SAP Public Cloud and I need to know if it's possible to make explode the BOM in Outbound Delivery w/o reference to Sales Order.

It's possible to work on customizing and assign the item categories, but I don't know which item categories are the right ones to achieve this behaviour.

The main item has ERLA as grouping while the sub-item has NORM.

Hi Emanuele, According to my expert, it's not possible to achieve what you're asking in S/4HANA Cloud, and there is also no plan to support it in standard, and it couldn't be done via customer configuration. However, you can start your process from Sales Order, not from outbound delivery directly. It would be also helpful for the discussion if you can share why you can’t start from Sales Order in your process. Best Regards, Sean
