hi,

since the S4 upgrade, it seems like bkpf-xref2_hd field is populated with the accounting principle (ACP:LOCL) when settling to an asset. Does anybody know where this comes from?

Hi!

This is a feature, as i remember, since 617 SAP version. At any settlement postings (i.e. ko88, cj88 etc) field BKPF-XREF2_HD filling with related accounting principle. You may check it here (se38) include - LKO77F80, just search "xref2_hd", you'll find logic like concatenate constant "ACP:" and name of account principle from FI/CO/ML/COGM customizing
