Billing Number and XBLNR Number is not Generated Same. Even after maintaing 'E' in VTFL

Hello People,

I have Maintain 'E' in VTFL in for Refernece Field in SAP.

But Biliing Number and Reference Number is not Generated Same.

Recent Development: I recently updated NR Status of the Number from 2411100015 to 2411100001.

Recent Billing Number: 2411102305 but the Reference Number: 2411102319

Why the discrepancy? Both Number Should Match?

Should be the same if you applied steps of KBA 3444642 - Determination of reference number (XBLNR) and assignment number (ZUONR) in billing documen... 

• Check for any own data transfer routine that would override SAP values, or even some customer development that would not respect state of art
• Look for available notes for your version
• Raise an incident/case to SAP if you don't find
