Billing date determination in billing plan

Hi All,

I have 2 scenarios to determine a different billing date:

1) I need to generate a billing plan to be billed on day 15 of each month, someone knows how to do that?

For example, I have a billing plan that starts on 01.01.2024 and ends on 31.12.2024.

The billing date determined should be:

Period: 01.01.24 to 31.01.24, billing date 15.01.24, 

Period: 01.02.24 to 29.02.24, billing date 15.02.24, etc.

2) I have 2 types of services in a billing plan: one is billed from 01.03.2024 to 31.03.2024 and the second is billed from 01.04.2024 to 30.04.2024 , but both should have billing date on 20.04.2024, is it possible?

In addition, when do you recommend to use a billing plan in a contract and when in a sales order?

Normally when the billing plan is predetermined in contract you can use the same in contract docs..

but wants to change (similar to your requirement like both March & april -20th April is the billing date) you can use sales order/release order with manual options..
