Batch Managment

I have a batch managed FG material , while releasing the production order for the material, there only i have to divide the FG in two batch and assign two batch numbers to it . Is it possible and how to do it.

Can your share the requirement behind the use of 2 batches for FG?

During order confirmation you can split or do multiple confirmations , when there is a requirement to classify batches, if it is based on the confirmation.

Hello Ravi,

In standard you can assign only one batch number at order level, To meet the requirement you can have partial GR's and assign different batches numbers during Production order Goods receipt.

It's an interview Question. I don't know the requirements for it.

Hello Ravi, By looking at your requirement on batch selection.

You can choose/create your own batch during goods receipt by having this FM VB_CREATE_BATCH.

Or You can enter the own batch during GR by manually.
