Since you have QM

1) You release the stock from QI ? or before QI ?

2) Perform any UD and successful the UD?

Hi rohansomji,

Good Day.

First you need to understand what type of stock is that.

The meaning of restricted Stock mean those stock other than un-restricted is restricted stock eg. quality, blocked, reserved etc.

You need to know what stock is this restricted stock you referring now. Is it block or quality inspection stock.

I am not sure about your issue because you din't indicate very clear how is your QM process.

So i assume this is block stock. If this is block stock , you just need to use MB1B to transfer from Block to unrestricted.

If this is QI stock , it would be another way.

Hope can help you.

TQ

Dear Rohan,

It seems that you are using the Quality management, your stock has been transfered to the blocked stock while giving the usage decision against the batch, hence in MSC3N, your batch is in 'Un-restriced' status and your batch stock in MMBE is in the restricted/ blocked stock.

You can check this in MB51, here maintain the material, plant and batch number and execute, you will find all the material movements against it.

Please check and revert.

Thanks

Dear Rohan,

This is normal behavior of system. Don't think about it.

For your case even though in MSC3N the batch is in unrestricted use and in MMBE it is restricted, when you will do confirmation or GR for that batch, the QTY will be picked in preference of order sequence.

Suppose for Order 1 and 2 u have 200 stock of dependent material.

U have created order 1 of 50 qty and order 2 of 200 qty for header material.

Both batches will have unrestricted status in MSC3N. But in MMBE u'll see restricted qty of 250. Now if u do confirmation in this sequence u'll get an error for 2nd order confirmation.

Please try n revert back in case of doubts,

Thanks and regards,

Sudhakar

Hello,

You better go with MMBE. please don't use batches which have reserved/restricted status in MMBE.

In MMBE for a certain batch, select the Qty against that batch in the reserved/restricted field, right click and find out the reservation against it.

If the reservation is valid then don't use that batch.

Forget about the MSC3N status.

please come back for further assistance,

With regards,

Sudhakar
