Yes ,
You can use split valuation .
If you are not using variant then split valuation is the best method and also at the time of MIGO , the valuation type will come as a batch .

Hi,
In your case, VC is the best solution.
If you dont want to go for VC, you may check the following options:
1.Configure split valuation where you can create multiple valuation types with color. The valuation type can be given at the time of PO creation and the same will be pulled in MIGO. You may track the stock also based on valuation type (colors). For example, color will be the valuation category and red, yellow, black etc would be the valuation type. This would be a better option.
2. If the material is batch managed, maintain the color in vendor batch number field in PO. The vendor batch number can be used as a characteristic in batch class.
3. If its for information purpose only, maintain it in any text field in PO.

Hello Nabil,
Did you consider to use variant configuration in the PO?

Batch Classification can be entered from MSC1N at the time of batch creation...
Its can't pulled in PO via any standard configuration...
At the time of batch creation, you can maintain the colour in characteristics in batch master...
