Batch Characteristics Field Non-Editable

Hi Experts,

One of our Manufacturing client is using Batch Management. We are transferring batch characteristics values from one batch to another batch through Batch Derivation. 

Initially the Batch is created with all the characteristics values & assigned to a production order of a SFG material. Now we are flowing the Batch Characteristics values to the FG production Order through Batch derivation.

The requirement is, once the batch is created & assigned to a production order, few selected batch characteristics values should be non editable in the SFG Production Order as well as when the FG Production Order for which the Batch characteristics are copied through batch derivation.

Please suggest how few values of batch characteristics can be kept non-editable & few values editable.

go to Fiori "Manage characteristics" - Addnl Data tab

Here activate the "Not Ready for Input" field.

If this does not solve your requirement you can check to restrict authorizations. Please check with your Basis contact person.
