Hi SAP Family ,
Can you please clarify my doubts
1) How consumption UOM functionality works? In my system it is grayed out .How the field picks the UOM.
2) Base UOM and Consumption UOM are same ?

Hi,
you procure the material in "TONS"
in basic data 1 view UOM as TON
at the time of issue the material is BAGS
in plant data / store 1 view
unit of issue is BAG.
you have to maintain the conversion rule as 1 TON = 20BAG
