BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC replacement in S/4HANA public cloud?

Hi,

Currently we are calling this BAPI from our custom program to perform goods issue. Is there a direct replacement for this operation? I noticed from the API hub that the RAP BO for Outbound Delivery doesn't have the corresponding PGI operation. I only found the oData call for PGI operation, but since this is an internal call, we were assuming that there would be a RAP BO operation for such requirement.

thanks for your feedback! Your observation is correct. The PGI Operation is yet available for the Outbound Delivery RAP BO. We plan to provide the operation in future, but I can't give you a release date at the moment. We will share roadmap updates in the SAP Roadmap Explorer. Thanks for your understanding.

Thank you for this confirmation! May I ask, if this is the case, what is the workaround or what is the temporary replacement for the BAPI call while waiting for the RAP BO operation? I only know that there is an oData available for doing the PGI which is usually recommended for external call.

Hello,

as already noticed correctly, the Outbound Delivery OData API does support PGI operation. The respective RAP BO will support it in future. Apart from that I am not aware of any other option. Please use the Continuous Influence Portal Session (SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Supply Chain Logistics => Category: Delivery Management) to raise a feature request. This way, we could also learn how many other customers would be interested in having this and prfioritize it accordingly.
