BAPI for Asset Retirement

Hello everyone,
I need to create a custom report for (partial) asset retirement (like transaction ABAVN).
I have fount the BAPI_ASSET_RETIREMENT_POST bapi, but it seems it doesn't have an option for acquisition:

Is there a way to choose Prior-year/From curr.-yr acquis. in that BAPI? Is there any other BAPI I could use?

Dario, 

The Partial Reteriment Option allows you to define Currenty Year or Prior Year Acquisition that will be used to determine the Asset Transaction Type.

Transaction type is needed when you post either a complete retirement or a complete transfer of an asset that has both prior-year acquisitions and acquisitions in the current fiscal year. The system uses this transaction type for the posting that involves the current-year acquisitions.

This is necessary for reports, in order to separate the current acquisitions and their depreciation from prior-year acquisitions.

By using the BAPI, you should determine by using the BAPI parameters.

Hello Gabriel,

While using BAPI, we have an option to send Transaction Types. However, there are multiple Transactions Types used for Asset Retirement and business won't have idea to choose the right one. How should one choose the right T-Type in that case. Could you please expedite. thanks.
