BAI Bank Format Details

Can anybody give me Standard bank External transaction codes used in BAI bank statments.

Hi Venkat,

Now SAP supports many Formats apart from BAI 1 and BAI 3, today SWIFT, Multicash etc is supported.

If I got your question right you want to check the external transaction types which are assgned to Bank statements for posting to SAP.

Please know that these transaction types are provided by banks and assigned to posting rules set in electronic bank statsement.

The one way to see the external transaction type in use is check the IDOC for Logical Message type FINSTA in T Code WE02.

For posting rules check the electronic bank statement settings.

the question wasnt that clear enough for me but still for your Info

you create a bank statement input file ..

run program RFEBKAT5 in SA38 , the BAI file will be displayed,

then run FF_5 to import the electronic bank statement.
