Hello everyone,
We are looking for a solution in SAP Business One to link orders to purchase orders after the fact. The standard process involves setting a checkmark in the "Logistics" tab of the relevant purchase order under "Procure non-stock items" to start the process.
However, we have another issue: When changes are made to the purchase order or when the entire purchase order is canceled, these changes are only visible in the order if you explicitly check the linking plan or the sales order. However, there is no way to get a notification in the purchase order itself when a change or cancellation occurs in the purchase order.
Is there any solution or workaround to ensure that such changes are directly reflected in the order with a notification?
We would appreciate any assistance or suggestions.
Thank you in advance!

Hi @Henry25 ,
Not sure if I got it correctly, but my understanding is that your SO triggers and links to a PO, and changes and/or cancellations should reflect upon each other. Correct?
There is no standard functionality that would automatically perform changes to a linked document. This might be doable via SDK, with logic and criteria well established.
But one thing you can potentially do while you don't have a "full solution" is to create an alert based on a query, which would send an internal message to specific users as long as such changes happen so that those users could proceed with the needful manually.
Good luck!
BR,
Felipe
