Availability in S/4HANA public cloud about KBA 3351929 - Business Partner Extensions for Japan VAT

Hi

Does anyone know if the following Japanese specific field in the supplier master can be added in S/4HANA Public cloud as same as S/4HANA on-premise?

"Japan: Valid Period for Tax Registration available in the tab Vendor: Country Specific Enh. 3.

We use SAP MDG(Master Data Governance) system and replicate business partner master between S/4HANA on-premise and S/4HANA public cloud.
And now there is a request to have the country specific field "Japan: Valid Period for Tax Registration available in the tab Vendor: Country Specific Enh. 3. " in S/4 public could which is available in S/4 on-premise by adopting the following KBA.

3351929 - Business Partner Extensions for Japan VAT

If it is possible, I would appreciate how to make it available in S/4HANA public cloud.

Thank you for the update. I have looked into your points.

Consult Custom Business Objects, Fields, and Logic & Country/Region-Specific Functions - Overview

However, to summarise, there is an important distinction between S4 on-premise and S4 public cloud that needs to be put into consideration.

On-premise	Public Cloud
·         Country specific screen/enhancement like vendor are delivered in the Financial Services BP Extension. ·         You can activate them directly.	·         The Business Partner master data UI is simplified and only exposes released country specific fields. ·         Valid period for Tax registration for Japan is one of functions that are note delivered to Public Cloud.

The options you have to work around the limitations are:

• To make use of custom field and logic app to store the valid period for Tax registration. Then enable it for supplier Master Data UIs and to replicate it to APIs. This ensures it flows through the MDS into the public cloud.
• Since you are replicating from MDG, you have the option to map the on-premise country specific field into a custom field in public cloud.

Else, raise an incident on the affected component or submit this to the customer influence portal.

No, I have no response yet.
We still have this issue and are looking for how to solve it.
If there is any information on this matter including workaround solution or something, it would be helpful for us.
